The Curse of Oak Island makes an exciting find | 22 Minutes

[Voiceover] The Curse of Oak Island is back
for an eighth season on History, and now the mystery digs even deeper than the hole we’ve
been digging for seven seasons. [Voiceover] Hole digging expert Kendall Tetford makes an earth-shattering find. I hit rock bottom! [Voiceover] Rocks! [Voiceover] An amazing find. [Voiceover] Rocks were used in the 18th century as a building
tool. If you were building some kind of a reservoir
to feed finger drains in the 19th century, then you would need rocks. [Voiceover] Could these rocks be the same rocks that lined the money pit? How else could they have possibly gotten there? These rocks could have been part of an elaborate
resevoir for a flood tunnel to protect the money pit! Sure. Yeah. Okay. Whatever. [Voiceover] And that’s when Rick made an earth-shattering discovery. Wait a minute. What’s this? It’s round… and it’s metal. It could be a… a button. Or a coin. If it’s a Spanish coin… It’s a button. [Voiceover] A button from the 16th century would prove
that someone was here long before the area was inhabited. I can just make out some writing on it. I’m going to bring it to be analyzed, but…
if this is latin… It says ‘Mark’s Work Warehouse’. And you’re missing a button. Well I’m not going to use this button. This could be the earth-shattering find that
we’ve been waiting for. I believe that Mark is latin… for Marco Polo [Voiceover] Is the Marco Polo button the key
to finally solving this mystery and ending this damn show? Who was Mark? What kind of work did he do? Where was his hidden warehouse buried? These are the burning questions that we have
to answer by digging more holes. [Voiceover] The Curse of Oak Island. [Voiceover] Only on History.
