[@caption_plus]So, day (three) of the con. Back once again with the Conductor. Hello there. (and) Shiny Hunter Tyler. So, we gotta wait for an hour, probably? Probably about an hour.
What time is it?KATIE:8:14.TYLER:According to my Switch,
it’s 2:30 AM. Hour and a half.KATIE:Hour and a half.[laughs]Your Switch says 2:30 AM. Wait, what time is it? 2:30 AM. Wow, we got here really early(!) Yeah, according to his Switch,
we’re here… …2:30. 2:30 in the morning.
Yeah, no. Perfect. Perfect timing. So anyway, we’re going to be bee-lining
right toAnimal Crossing. Okay, do you want photos or demos? I think I want a photo. And I don’t have a Switch,
so what’s the point of me playing the demo but not gonna be
actually able to play the game? It might make youwannabuy a Switch. I mean, I already—
I work retail!I don’t have money to
buy a Switch right now![mumbles]
… and you like photos. Alright, so we’re gonna
have two pictures. I mean, you can play the demo
if you want. I think pictures are greater than that. We’ll see what the line is like for both. Good idea. So we’ll see what the line is like. I… and I’m about to
admit something on camera: I’ve never played anAnimal Crossinggame.SHEMP:WHAT?!Huh! Okay, that’s fair.TYLER:I’m surprised, because Zoe has
Animal Crossingon her 3DS. Zoe has it. I just never
got a chance to play it.KATIE:Did you not have the systems,
or you just never…? I just… didn’t play it. That’s it. That’s fair. That’s all. This is a good start for you then. Maybe. So, we’ll see.♫Come on, throw the cow. Throw the cow.CROWD:Throw the cow!
Throw the cow![cheering]♫There’s a lot of people going before us.
[chuckles]All of them are going to
Animal Crossing![giggles]I can’t wait to actually start walking.
My feet are just dying.♫Well, Tyler bolted ahead. We’ll see if we can kinda dig through.KATIE:Let him get
what he needs to get. We’re your moral support!PERSON:Excuse me, guys. Is this a lineup?ENFORCER:If you’re waiting in line…
(inaudible) that line is currently packed.
Please come back later. I recommend forming a party… Capped?KATIE:Oh Tyler, I’m sorry.TYLER:Instantly again. Okay, so we couldn’t get
a lot of footage today, because we actually didn’t do a lot. Today was more of a hangout day. It was really busy. I’m trying to be quiet,
because Tyler is sleeping, and hopefully I don’t
wake him up too much, but… let’s try and do a quick review
of what happened today. So, we got through… There was a whole bunch of stuff
bouncing around in line. There was a turtle, a shark,
a cow at one point. Then we went in,
and the first thing we do is we went to beeline
right to theAnimal Crossingbooth. and unfortunately,
it was already capped. Like we got there,
but it was already capped. We waited an hour and a half,
we got there an hour and a half early, and we still weren’t early enough
to get toAnimal Crossing. So I just got set in my mind that we’re gonna be getting
Animal Crossingprobably Sunday, which is usually the lightest day
compared to Thursday. So then we tried to go over to
Final Fantasy XIV Online, which is Tyler’s favorite game, and… that was full as well. So we just kinda were like,
“Well, great.” So we just kind of walked around, and we went and got some boba tea. After the boba tea, we then
met up with Just Shooter again, and then we went and sat in line to
go see theKerbal Space Program. And that was something that Just Shooter
really wanted to get into. So we said, “Okay, sure.” We then went and
we waited in line, and I was a little bit bamboozled
because I thought it was a demo. It was behind closed doors, but it was actually just a presentation of the stuff that they’re adding to it
and stuff, and…I… We went because Shooter wanted to go, and we wanted to make sure that
that was something that we did. From there, we kinda
wandered around for a bit, and Tyler went to a PAX—
to a signing for Vinesauce, and then me, Katie, and Shooter
went for lunch. Again, subpar lunch,
just like yesterday. Not much better at all.
We ate at the cafeteria again. So then after that, Tyler finished up,
he met back with us, and then we went wandering
for a bit. After wandering for a bit,
we went to… I believe to playOvercooked 2.And Shooter had to go from that point, and we sat down
and playedOvercooked 2.Now, the game’s already out,
but there was DLC, and it was kind of fun, and,
you know, we had a lot of fun with that. From there, we then went to
a panel with Beta64. You guys might know him.
He’s a big YouTuber. Over 300,000 subs. He does beta stuff for games,
like games that were… He finds beta builds
where they were in-progress, and… It was really interesting. He actually talked a bit aboutCrash Bandicoot,
and some of the prototype levels there. He talked about… The main game that he really talked about,
I believe it was “Glovey”, “Glovely” I can’t remember— “Glow-ver.”
“Glove-er”, “Glover”.Glover 2, which was a sequel to a game,
and it never came out, and he just showed
a bunch of footage of it. He showed a bunch of awesome stuff,
and it was really funny. He showed some stuff
fromDonkey Kong 64,aResident EvilGame Boy Advance port,
which… that was incredible. There was a whole bunch of stuff
that he showed. That was so much fun. And Katie really wanted to go,
and I was like, “Sure, let’s go.” And then I actually ended up having
a great time with that. That was a lot of fun. I actually quickly shook his hand,
said he does great work, and then I told him that there was
aSpyroprototype that had recently come out, and he was like,
“Oh my gosh, that’s right!” and I suggested it for a video for him.
I hope he does it. I hope he covers it. I hope that’s something
that’s gonna be really cool. I might be covering it
when I get home. And then we wrapped up
from the con, and we went to dinner
at the hotel that we’re at. It was pretty good.
A little expensive, but, you know, it’s Boston.
Boston’s very expensive. and then Katie and I went out for coffee
to have a business chat. We talked about the channel,
and it was a lot of fun. It was really cool. And today was a pretty chill day. Hopefully tomorrow’s
a little bit more action-packed. I’ll get more footage tomorrow as well.
I’m gonna need to remember that, ’cause you guys want to see
the stuff that’s happening. So anyway guys,
that’s all the time I have for today. Thank you so much for watching
for day three of PAX, technically. Day two of the convention,
but day three of the trip. And we’ll see you guys tomorrow
with the next PAX vlog. Have a good night,
