Worldwide container transport can be arranged with trans-shipments in ports on the continent.

In addition chartered vessels transport cargo on demand. Ports in the Faroes are also used as a transit port.
The vessels employed in regular scheduled cargo routes are ro-ro vessels, container vessels or combined pallet and container vessels.
